Having been led by the Spirit of God to:

1) come to the understanding that we are sinners in God’s sight, justly deserving His wrath and without hope except for His sovereign mercy and grace;

2) believe in the Lord Jesus Christ as the Son of God, and God the Son; and that He died for our sins, was buried and rose again on the third day;

3) be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, upon the profession of our faith;

We do now proclaim that the Bible, which is comprised of the thirty-nine books of the Old Testament and the twenty-seven books of the New Testament, is God's infallible and inerrant Word; that it is the ultimate and final authority in all matters of faith and practice and is therefore the standard by which we will measure our lives and our conduct with one another.

We engage, by the aid of the Holy Spirit, to walk together in Christian love; to strive for the advancement of this church, in knowledge, holiness, and purity;

To promote its prosperity and spirituality; to sustain its worship, ordinances, discipline, and doctrines;

To contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the gospel through all nations;

To remember each other in prayer; to aid each other in sickness and distress; to cultivate Christian sympathy in feeling and courtesy in speech; to practice Christian hospitality toward one another and in spreading the gospel; to be slow to take offense, but always ready for reconciliation, and mindful of the rules of our Saviour to secure it without delay; practicing these and all of the “One Anothers” of scripture.

We also engage to maintain and promote the biblical family, to raise up a godly generation of children, seeking their salvation and the salvation of their kindred and future generations.

We further engage that we would walk circumspectly in the world; be just in our dealings, be faithful in our engagements, be exemplary in our deportment, and honor civil authority.

We moreover engage that when we remove from this place we will, as soon as possible, unite with some other church, where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God’s Word.

We further proclaim, in the presence of God, that we most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another, as a local assembly of Christians under the gracious Lordship of Jesus Christ, the servant leadership of the elders, and the loving accountability of one another.
